The LoanServ Residential Mortgage Corporate Advances / Claims Business Analyst works with the Corporate Advances Project Manager within the firm's mortgage servicing area to verify recoverability or non-recoverability advance classification decisions made on corporate advances.

This role also requires expert-level knowledge of the Sagent LoanServ residential mortgage servicing system and the LoanSphere invoice Management system. The candidate must be able to assist the client in mapping LoanSphere bidirectional corporate advance fields to the LoanServ system.

This role will assist the PM, the client’s management, and staff in overseeing the processing of corporate advances by developing and managing reporting related to the project.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience with residential mortgage corporate advances, data mapping, analysis, and mortgage claims is required
  • 5+ years of experience with expert-level knowledge of the Sagent LoanServ mortgage servicing system and the Loan Sphere invoice management system, and understanding of corporate advance mapping from Loan Sphere to LoanServ is required
  • Must have previous experience with data mapping various fields between the Sagent LoanServ mortgage servicing system and the BKFS LoanSphere system, and solid business technology knowledge
  • Must have residential mortgage claims experience with knowledge of recoverable and non-recoverable residential mortgage corporate advances in the mortgage servicing, corporate advance, claims, and loss analysis areas.
  • Extensive Default Servicing background with a clear understanding of the Loan Life Cycle experience (expense recoverability knowledge), strong analytical and technical skills
  • Can assist the Project Manager with project management/planning experience, including setting milestones, tracking progress, reporting on project status, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of all investor rules related to recoverable and non-recoverable corporate advances and claims for FHA, VA, USDA, GSE, and Private investors
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to interface confidently with clients, auditors, and to influence others in the organization to drive results
