We have a great client in greater Tampa, FL in need of a Mold Designer. Our client can offer relocation assistance and a competitive compensation package. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following;

Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintains 2D and 3D drawings for the mold components and assemblies.
• Interface with R&D engineers, molding and Toolroom personnel to develop new and maintain existing molds.
• Work with Purchasing to order components from suppliers.
• Maintains EAM database to ensure mold data is correct.
• Review new and prototype mold designs as needed
• Work with engineering staff to construct prototype molds
• Recommend mold design changes as needed.
• Troubleshoot mold problems, analyze and diagnose the nature of the problem
• Keep tooling manager informed of status of the jobs and unusual mold problems
• Initiate orders on shop supplies, mold components, etc.
• Coordinate components for CNC and EDM projects
• Perform other duties as assigned
