Mold Designer

Our client is a global industry leader looking to add a Mold Designer to their team, the ideal candidate will have the following experience;

Essential Functions:

Responsible for all data management based on Tool Room needs.
Full mold / tool design as required.
Assist in tooling (project management) from conception to mold / tool completion.
Ensure that all tooling forms/paperwork are being filled out properly.
Assist in coordinating work with outside tooling houses.
Attend design reviews as required.

Qualifications

Associate degree or Tool & Die Apprentice certificate from an accredited institution.
Prior experience with CAD software required.
5 years’ experience in plastic injection mold design.
Experience in stamping dies helpful.
Prior Tool Room experience.
