Key Responsibilities
-
Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, repairs, and modifications on production machinery, heavy equipment, and facility systems
-
Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
-
Use PLC software to support system diagnostics and updates
-
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for maintenance and repair activities
-
Carry out welding and fabrication work as required to maintain or modify equipment
-
Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently to minimize downtime
What You Bring
-
Valid Ontario Millwright 433A Certification (required)
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry or similar heavy industrial setting
-
Proven hands-on experience working with heavy machinery and facility equipment
-
Proficient in machine troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair
-
Welding and fabrication experience is considered an asset
-
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
-
Safety-focused, reliable, and team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
