Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, repairs, and modifications on production machinery, heavy equipment, and facility systems

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components

  • Use PLC software to support system diagnostics and updates

  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for maintenance and repair activities

  • Carry out welding and fabrication work as required to maintain or modify equipment

  • Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently to minimize downtime

What You Bring

  • Valid Ontario Millwright 433A Certification (required)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry or similar heavy industrial setting

  • Proven hands-on experience working with heavy machinery and facility equipment

  • Proficient in machine troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair

  • Welding and fabrication experience is considered an asset

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints

  • Safety-focused, reliable, and team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
