Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Middle Market Banker to join our Dallas, TX team. This is a client-facing, on-site role responsible for sourcing new business opportunities, bringing a portfolio in or building it from scratch, and fostering relationships with lower middle-market businesses in the DFW and northern Texas regions. This individual will play a key role in driving the bank’s growth strategy by leveraging their network and experience to identify and capture new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Actively prospect and identify potential lower middle-market clients within the DFW and northern Texas markets. Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients. Provide consultative banking solutions that meet the unique needs of lower middle-market businesses.
- Portfolio Management: Build and grow a diverse portfolio of middle-market clients. Ensure client satisfaction and deliver tailored financial products and services that align with clients’ objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including credit, risk, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of banking solutions. Collaborate with leadership to achieve organizational growth goals.
- Market Expertise: Serve as a trusted advisor with deep knowledge of the local market and industry trends, offering insight and guidance to clients on financial matters.
- Results-Driven: Demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving individual and team goals, consistently meeting sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in commercial banking, business development, or relationship management within the middle-market sector.
- Network: Established network and strong presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth and northern Texas markets. Ability to leverage relationships for business development.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-Sufficiency: A self-starter who can work independently while being part of a collaborative team environment.
- Motivated: Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for driving growth and achieving results.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
