Employee Benefits Account Manager

Location: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

A well-established insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join its growing team in the Jacksonville area. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence three days per week, offering a collaborative environment, strong leadership support, and a robust book of business.

The Role

This position is responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of employee benefits clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in employee benefits, excels at relationship management, and is passionate about delivering high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day servicing of employee benefits accounts, including renewals, plan changes, and ongoing client support

  • Serve as the main liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams

  • Lead annual renewal strategy, including marketing, negotiations, and presentations

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of enrollments, changes, and compliance-related items

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client retention and satisfaction

  • Support producers with client strategy and account growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in employee benefits account management within an insurance brokerage environment

  • Strong knowledge of group health, dental, vision, life, and disability plans

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced setting

  • Active insurance license (or ability to obtain, if required)
