Salary: $310,000.00 - $420,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on sophisticated M&A and private equity transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate acquisition agreements, equity documents, and related transaction documentation.
- Lead and coordinate due diligence efforts, ensuring comprehensive analysis and compliance.
- Manage critical transaction components, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay updated on financial and market trends to provide forward-thinking counsel.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in New York.
- 4–7 years of substantive M&A and private equity experience.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex M&A and private equity transaction documents.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a key member of deal teams, managing aspects of transactions from due diligence to closing.
- Prior experience with an AmLaw 50 firm is required.
