ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a long-established, family-owned European company specializing in the processing and trading of speciality crops.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE MERCHANDISING/LOGISTICS ASSISTANT

The Merchandising/Logistics assistant will enter purchase and sales contracts, assist in coordination of both the inbound and outbound logistics, produce and verify grain settlements, including Elevator Receipt and contract price verification and communicate with customers both on the supply side and the sales side. You will develop and maintain inventory and contract reports including position tracking as it relates to all commodities handled through the facility, follow and maintain all proper documentation relating to our HACCP controlled facility and office, and assist in other merchandising and logistics functions.

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time position will have varying hours depending on the season.

AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY?

Ideal candidates will:

  • Be extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills that will enable effective communication with both internal and external customers
  • Work independently or as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in Ag business is preferred
