Planner
Responsible for establishing demand forecasts using various projections, market feedback and historical data. Manages the division's financials by developing and gaining agreement on budgets, goals and plans, and ensuring that the financial strategy pursued is consistent with the brand growth plan.
- Responsible for creating Division/Category Plans that are in-line with the company business objective with the goal of maximizing sales, gross margin, gross margin $’s and minimizing inventory risk.
- Develop sales and inventory plans, first top down and then bottom up by product category
- Develop topline monthly sales plans along with store sales by location (sales and units) that feed multiple business requirements
- Lead and manage monthly OTB, revise plans to trend and need of the business.
- Create seasonal buy projections for buying team and ensure core product is in stock year round.
- Provide seasonal planning by category, actualizing sales and inventory monthly.
- Analyze all metrics (sales, GM%, GM$, Inventory, WOS, sell-thru) weekly, monthly and seasonally by category, and works with the buying team to strategize/analyze promotions and markdowns each week.
Skills
- At least 3 years of experience. Amazon and Walmart a plus
- Technical proficiency with computer software tools (Microsoft Word, Excel
- Strong analytical / problem solving capabilities including the ability to quickly identify effects from consumer, internal and marketplace information.
