Men's Associate Designer

Immediate hire FULL time in NYC for Associate Designer to assist in developing and implementing the Men's collection for an iconic brand.

Company designs and manufactures apparel and accessories for all types of retailers.

SOME RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Maintains and organized design space (samples, files, visual CADs, etc.) so that information is readily accessible to teammates
• Responsible for trend research and inspiration.
• Responsible for illustrator sketches, fit comments, and final product execution.
• Generate tech packs for new and carryover styles in Beproduct
• Partners with the production team to approve samples to ensure the garment is production ready.

Skills:

• Working Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Ability to learn new computer technology
• Strong research, design, and conceptual skills
• Keen sense of color and taste level
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with an ability to work under tight timelines while managing multiple priorities
• Ability to collaborate well with multiple team members: Positive Team player attitude
• Sense of accountability and strong work ethic
• Punctuality & dependable attendance
• Min 4+ years of design experience
