Salary: $23.50 - $38.90 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical laboratory tests in the fields of hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and clinical microscopy.
- Obtain and analyze specimens effectively while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
- Utilize and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring all apparatus are calibrated, clean, and fully operational.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical, equipment, or testing complications to ensure minimal disruption to laboratory operations.
- Adapt to new technologies and maintain professional knowledge necessary for the provision of quality laboratory services.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Accredited degree from a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician program (required).
- Certification as an MT/CLS (ASCP) or as an MLT/CLS (ASCP).
- Ability to work night or day shifts in a 36-hour workweek schedule.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and achieving superior clinical outcomes.
- Proven ability to operate complex laboratory equipment and perform precise testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Blood Bank experience.
- Experience in a high-volume lab setting; new graduates must have completed a clinical internship in a comparable environment.
- Detail-oriented with robust analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly in a team.

- Proficient in using laboratory information systems (LIS) and other computer systems pertinent to laboratory technologies.
- Expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting clinical laboratory equipment.
