Medical Billing Specialist

Medical Billing Specialist needed for full-time contract position with potential for direct-hire. This is a great opportunity for those with 1+yr of Medicaid Billing and Claims experience and strong customer service skills looking for a foot in the door with a premier employer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Posting Medicaid remittances including working denials

· Working Medicaid Aged Receivables

· Processing Spenddown Invoices daily

· Follow up on invoices to verify clients have been opened

· Review and adjustment of client accounts to ensure proper billing

· Set up and maintenance of Spenddown Information, Eligibility and other Spenddown related fields

· Providing excellent customer service to patients or staff with billing related questions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Strong organizational skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Basic fundamental computer experience to process email and access client/claims information within an EHR and web based insurance portals

· Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus
