Job Summary:

A medical assistant will support the healthcare professionals by performing both administrative and clinical tasks in the healthcare setting. They play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of medical offices and delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Duties:

    • Prepare patients for examinations by taking medical histories and vital signs.
    • Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures.

    • Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician.
    • Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical instruments.
  2. Administrative Duties:

    • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
    • Handle billing, coding, and insurance claims processing.
    • Answer phone calls, manage correspondence, and greet patients.
    • Order and manage medical supplies and inventory.
