Salary: $42,640 - $70,720 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers in the delivery of patient care including recording vital signs, administering injections, and performing EKGs.
• Manage patient flow in the clinic, encompassing pre-visit preparations, support during the visit, and post-visit tasks.
• Operate and manage Electronic Medical Record systems, ensuring accurate and efficient record keeping.
• Participate in clinical duties within authorized scope of practice including ear lavages, blood draws, and managing medication under provider guidance.
• Provide patient education on healthcare maintenance and disease prevention tailored to patient needs.
• Contribute to team efforts by maintaining supplies, cleanliness, and functionality of the healthcare environment.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team to improve patient care and clinic operations.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Active licensing in the State of Washington as a Medical Assistant-Certified required.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly Epic.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Proven ability to perform clinical tasks such as injections, EKGs, ear lavages, and blood draws.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for managing patient flow and interaction.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and effective clinical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role within outpatient or primary care settings.
• Additional certifications relevant to the specialty areas (e.g., Orthopedics, Pediatrics).
• Experience in acute or emergency care environments.
• Bilingual abilities are highly advantageous to support diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts or cover additional specialties as needed.
