Salary: Up to $90,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Scheduling and budgeting a wide range of custom engineering projects
- Creating, engineering, fabricating, and testing custom engineering projects, from concept to delivery
- Reviewing detailed custom engineering 3D SolidWorks drawings to ensure accuracy and viability
- Maintaining effective communication with various vendors, customers, and internal teams
- Working collaboratively with other engineers and production teams to ensure project efficiency
- Developing and maintaining the Production Ready Library and overseeing the creation of Engineering Change Notices
- Constructing comprehensive bills of materials and coordinating project integrations
- Supervising installations and problem-solving on site to provide technical leadership and support
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience as a Project Engineer in a relevant field such as biotechnology, food, or pharmaceuticals with a focus on sanitary piping
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- At least two years of experience with Microsoft Excel for project tracking and reporting
- Proficiency in managing multiple, concurrent projects in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated solid work history with a commitment to project and job fidelity
- Must be a U.S. citizen or hold a Green Card
- Residence within 45 minutes of the worksite in Whitewater, Wisconsin Area
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within engineering projects
- Advanced certification or training in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP)
- Knowledge of CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for drafting and reviewing project designs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all project stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address engineering challenges
