Mechanical Estimator - Piping Focused

A leading mechanical contractor in the GTA is looking to add a Mechanical Estimator that has a focus on piping projects. The right fit would need to have a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the ICI construction markets. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced estimating professional that is ready to take his or her career to the next level! This contractor has a strong focused on both retrofit and new construction projects locally.

The right fit for this opportunity will be someone who has positive energy, the ability to be a part of a team, a focused career plan and the drive to be the best! Leadership, mentorship, and training will be provided as you will be surrounded by the best! You will have to be capable of putting together a complete estimate from initial take-off, computer data entry, sourcing sub-contractors and suppliers and presenting a final price. In addition, you must be able to interpret technical specifications and read and understand construction drawings.

Responsibilities / Qualifications:

-Computerized estimating systems and spreadsheet design

-5-7+ years of experience estimating mechanical piping projects specifically.

-Understanding of Drawings and Technical Specifications

-Understanding of Varied Contractual Terms & Conditions

-Conceptual Estimating Competency
