Mechanical Engineering Project Manager

This full-time, permanent Mechanical Engineering Project Manager role offers an exciting opportunity in a highly respected company within the machinery services industry. Salary: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring timely execution and quality standards.
  • Act as the primary point of communication between customers, internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to facilitate clear and effective information exchange.
  • Coordinate logistics for product shipment and ensure installations are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
  • Engage directly with on-ground tasks alongside team members, providing hands-on leadership rather than solely directive instructions.
  • Address and resolve customer issues, maintaining strong professional relationships and upholding the company’s reputation for exceptional service.
  • Travel 25% to 30% across the United States, Canada, and Mexico to meet project demands and oversee critical stages of project implementation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
  • At least one year of experience in mechanical design or project management related to capital equipment.
  • Capability to travel up to 30% internationally within North America.
  • Solid work history demonstrating reliability and commitment to previous roles.
  • Legal U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder status required.
  • Residency within 45 minutes of the Little Chute, Wisconsin area strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong technical proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using project management software.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, capable of navigating complex customer relations and internal team dynamics.
