Mechanical Engineer-Packaging Machinery

A leading packaging manufacturer specializing in liquid filling machinery is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its team at the main plant south of St. Petersburg, FL, near Sarasota. They make equipment for several markets, including food, beverage, Home Goods, Pharmaceuticals, Health, and Beauty. This individual is expected to develop new equipment lines while handling modifications of existing lines. Expect to handle both R&D and Project Management roles pending on the customer’s needs. You will be one of two mechanical engineers, and there are two control engineers who round out the Engineering team.

Ideal candidate is anyone with solid experience in 3D CAD software and has worked in automation and manufacturing. They want someone who has designed motion solutions.
