Are you a mechanical engineer who thrives on solving problems, building better products, and making an impact? We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer II to join a sustaining engineering team focused on continuous improvement, product support, and new product development in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do:

Design and model mechanical parts and assemblies using Creo and Windchill

Support production by troubleshooting performance, fit, finish, and BOM accuracy issues

Participate in launching derivative product orders—from spec to shipment

Review customer requirements and ensure compliance with performance, agency, and fit/function standards

Collaborate cross-functionally with design, production, and quality teams

Contribute to new product development efforts, including testing and validation
What You Bring:

Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering

Around 5 years of mechanical design experience (HVAC experience preferred)
-
Proficiency in 3D CAD (Creo preferred) and PLM systems
-
Understanding of HVAC system design, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
-
Familiarity with standards (UL, ETL, AHRI, ASHRAE) and regulatory compliance
-
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma processes a plus

FEA, CFD, or other predictive modeling skills are a bonus
A Bit About the Role:
This role blends design engineering with hands-on problem solving and continuous improvement. You’ll spend most of your time in an office and lab setting, with occasional time on the production floor. Expect a collaborative environment where your ideas and input help shape the way products are made and supported.
