Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in automation to lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and machinery. This role will drive innovative solutions from concept through production, supporting automation initiatives across industrial and manufacturing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical design of automated equipment, tooling, and systems from concept through release.

• Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).

• Collaborate with electrical, controls, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.

• Evaluate design feasibility, material selection, and manufacturing processes.

• Support prototype builds, testing, and validation of mechanical systems.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide engineering solutions during system installation and commissioning.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, with at least 3 years in automation or custom machinery.

• Proficiency in CAD and knowledge of GD&T, FEA, and DFM principles.

• Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and testing.

• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
