Salary: $70,000 - $86,500 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring all projects adhere to timelines and quality standards.
- Create innovative, custom designs for mechanical metal product solutions, catering to client-specific needs and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the fabrication team to ensure designs are feasible and optimized for manufacturing.
- Maintain communication with project stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback on project progress and design adjustments.
- Participate in project reviews and troubleshooting sessions to identify and solve engineering issues as they arise.
- Utilize both AutoCAD and 3D design tools to prepare detailed engineering drawings and models.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years working specifically with the design of structural metal products.
- Proven track record of metal product fabrication techniques and processes.
- Significant experience with AutoCAD and 3D design software.
- Understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems crucial for integrated designs.
- Established history of long-term employment in related fields.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or hold a valid Green Card.
- Location within a 45-minute drive of Caledonia, Wisconsin, or willingness to relocate.
