Mechanical Design Engineer - Structural Steel Products

Salary: $70,000.00 - $86,500.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple engineering projects from inception to completion ensuring efficiency and adherence to timelines.
  • Design unique structural metal solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine design requirements and integrate client feedback into design plans.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and 3D design software to create and optimize designs.
  • Adapt to varying project requirements and perform modifications as necessary.
  • Ensure all projects comply with governmental and environmental regulations.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • A Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Proficiency in structural metal product design with at least two years of dedicated experience.
  • At least two years of hands-on experience with metal product fabrication.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design tools.
  • Understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems to ensure holistic design approach.
  • Solid work history demonstrating reliability and commitment to previous roles.
  • Based within a 45-minute commute of the Caledonia area.
  • US citizenship or Green Card holder status.
