This full-time, permanent Mechanical Applications Engineer position is with a well-established industrial manufacturer known for creating environmentally friendly products that significantly reduce pollution and fossil fuel dependence. Salary: $65,000 to $80,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle approximately 20 - 25 customer calls daily to assess needs and provide solutions.
- Utilize in-depth engineering knowledge to apply technical skills to company products.
- Investigate and analyze customer requirements to better address problems.
- Operate comprehensive internet-based engineering software designed to automate most of the sales and application engineering processes.
- Develop and provide suitable alternative technical proposals and support to the sales team.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members through telephone, email, and virtual tools.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- At least two years of industrial sales application engineering experience.
- Strong verbal communication skills and enjoyment of customer interaction.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
- Residence within a 45-minute commute to Richfield, Wisconsin.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in combustion technology.
