Materials Technician

Primary responsibilities of the job include:

• Managing the materials testing for roadway construction
• Perform testing, analysis and reporting on the results
• Maintenance of equipment to ensure accurate results
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Providing accurate density measurements
• Strong attention to detail and proven organizational skills

A successful candidate will possess the following:

• 3-5 years direct experience in roadway materials testing, and developing reports
• Ability to read, understand and interpret specifications, scopes of work and project schedules
• Ability to demonstrate technical and analytical skills regarding materials and measurements
• Must have experience with multi-million-dollar projects

Salary Range: $38-42/hour
