JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Material Handler in Holly, MI. Our client is a well-established company in the manufacturing industry. The Material Handler is responsible for putting away inventory in the stockroom and pulling and moving material to the production floor to support manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities of a Material Handler include:

  • Storing components in the stockroom.
  • Maintaining stock locations and material movements in the ERP system.
  • Continuously replenishing stock on the production lines.
  • Organizing and cleaning the assigned area daily.
  • Following all ESD and equipment safety protocols.
  • Accurately maintaining inventory through weekly cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
  • Effectively communicating any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements of a Material Handler:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in electronics material handling and ESD requirements.
  • Familiarity with warehouse software packages, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience with inventory counting and tracking.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Expected Hours: 40 – 50 per week
