Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager will lead and execute integrated marketing strategies that communicate the technical capabilities and strategic advantages of our products to key stakeholders including defense contractors, government agencies, and military end users. This role combines strategic thinking with tactical execution across branding, digital content, event and trade show planning, and market intelligence in a highly specialized and regulated industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement B2G/B2B marketing strategies aligned with business development goals and defense acquisition cycles.

  • Product Marketing: Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions and collateral tailored to military and defense customers.

  • Content Development: Create technical brochures, white papers, website content, product datasheets, case studies, videos, and digital media assets.

  • Digital Marketing: Create, up-date and manage website, SEO, email campaigns, and social media platforms to increase brand visibility and lead generation.

  • Event Management: Plan and coordinate trade shows, military expos, and technical demonstrations including logistics, booth design, and follow-up campaigns.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and government procurement announcements to inform strategy.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, and executive leadership to align messaging and support product launches.

  • CRM and Analytics: Track marketing KPIs, manage lead funnels, and report ROI of campaigns using tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field preferred

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in the defense or similar industry

  • Experience marketing complex technical products to military or government clients.

  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and defense industry communications.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into persuasive messaging.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, CRM, Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms, and web content management systems.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (if required). Must be US Citizen.


Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with visual augmentation, night vision, thermal imaging, optical sensors, or related electro-optical systems.

  • Experience working with or marketing to DoD, DHS, law enforcement, or international defense organizations.

  • Prior work with ISO or ITAR-regulated environments.
