About Our Client
Our client, a company with a small team but large impact across youth in Canada, is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead a marketing team and lead the customer narrative. The ideal candidate: You are a self-driven brand-guru potentially coming from an Agency environment open to moving client-side. You thrive in virtual environment with lots of on-camera time with your team and your clients. You love a start-up feel where you can own both budget / strategy / analytics, and be the hands on person for content while interacting with major brands. Additionally, you have led a small team and love being a people manager.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to:

  • Manage the organization's multiple social platforms
  • Interact with internal teams, ensuring online communication is aligned
  • Own digital from across all platforms, with a focus on Gen Z
  • Develop optimized online content
  • Track, measure and analyze competitor data as well as internal research data
  • Interact with external resources as needed to create and launch content

The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

  • Hands-on experience with google analytics and both paid and earned search
  • University degree in a related field of study
  • 3 or more years in digital media (paid and earned) or manager position in a fast-moving corporate environment
  • 4 or more years of experience with digital marketing
  • Ability to write optimized content within brand voice guidelines
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and an outgoing attitude
