Pay Range: $85k to 100k

What’s the Role?

The Marketing Manager, Direct Mail is a key role in our Direct-to-Consumer business. This person will work cross functionally to execute and optimize direct mail campaigns for multiple products and sales channels across Rate Companies. This role is one that is strategy driven, heavily focusing on KPI’s and analytics, while also managing creative brief development, compliance approval and a working knowledge of direct mail production and logistics. The Marketing Manager, Direct Mail will play a critical role in designing tests, trigger and life-cycle direct mail campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of direct response marketing strategies for direct mail and in partnership with other channels, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Leverage deep understanding of direct mail best practices, including audience segmentation, creative testing, format optimization, and frequency strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Design and execute multivariant testing plans across several product lines.
  • Create and manage detailed reports that provide visibility into the entire marketing funnel, from initial contact to conversion and beyond, ensuring that leadership and key stakeholders understand campaign effectiveness.
  • Work closely with direct mail vendors, data providers, and external partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns with the highest quality output.
  • Partner with digital, email, and other performance marketing teams to ensure that direct mail campaigns are integrated into the broader marketing strategy.
  • Analyze campaign performance, develop actionable insights from data, and adjust strategies to improve key metrics such as conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Lead vendor management tasks, such as onboarding, bidding, SOW development, inventory and invoice management.
  • Organize and prioritize multiple projects and priorities with minimal oversight.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of direct mail marketing strategy and campaign execution experience required
  • 2+ years in a regulated industry, preferably financial services or mortgage related, experience
  • Knowledge of print formats, print production process and USPS guidelines
  • Knowledge of creative development software, preferably Adobe, and terminology
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CDPs and CRMs
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast paced, collaborative environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively to peers and management
  • Very strong problem-solving skills with a technical mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple deadline-oriented projects concurrently
  • Effective written and verbal communication, listening and organizational skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook)
