Business Development & Marketing Coordinator

The Business Development & Marketing Coordinator will provide inside sales and marketing support to our business development team. We have a small, talented team that works on impactful initiatives that are essential to PSHI's success and growth. While this is an entry-level position, there is an opportunity for your growth and development. We're looking for someone with an enthusiasm for helping people, an amazing ability to balance multiple projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment, and an abundance of creative problem solving skills.

Job Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Business Development

Prospect, qualify and respond to new opportunities by monitoring government procurement portals for opportunities to generate sales of selected hardware, software and services.
Review solicitations/RFIs/RFQs/RFPs and assist with preparing quality responses.
Respond to new sales leads, inbound calls and emails, and quote requests from new and existing customers in a timely manner.
Process customer quotes and work with internal departments and vendors/manufacturers on orders.

Update, revise, and follow up on quotes, orders, and customer accounts in internal systems.
Proposal development and production including graphic/multimedia support, formatting, proofreading, and editing/reviewing to ensure compliance and quality.
Liaise with third party vendors for bids for proposals.

Ensure that proposals and contract information is organized, filed in electronic filing system, and up to date in relevant tracking databases.
Coordination of team meetings and conference calls, and taking minutes/notes, as needed.
Provide administrative and clerical support to Senior VP and team, as needed.
Perform other related duties, as requested or assigned.

Marketing

Develop, prepare, and maintain marketing materials, databases and information; including assisting or leading the creation of document templates in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for proposals, brochures, capability statements, and presentations.
Assist with brand management and reinforce/ensure that marketing materials are in line with brand standards.
Website content updates and editing.
Assist with social media platforms
Coordination of conference/trade show events for the team; as well as assisting with occasional event planning of company events.
Assist with other marketing initiatives, as needed
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred
Minimum of 1 year of office experience

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities

Extensive knowledge and proficiency with Adobe applications (Acrobat Pro & Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to communicate professionally, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, and take charge confidently.
Ability to work with different personalities and professional styles and the ability to interact with people professionally on the phone, electronically, and in person.
Team oriented, quick self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team to meet established project goals, plus the flexibility and willingness to learn and take the initiative on a variety of tasks and projects
Must be able to effectively organize, execute, and follow-up on projects; manage workload; complete tasks in adherence with established timelines; and communicate effectively without direct supervision
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.

Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
