Our Marketing Associate position is all understanding our client’s marketing business needs, and helping to propose solutions that they like and that make sense for their business. Ideal candidates will have a passion for marketing and technology, a willingness to learn and grow, and a desire to commit to our company and the clients we serve.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Form and nurture new and existing client relationships
  • Work with Project Manager to outline projects and milestones for the clients you serve
  • Maintain excellent communication with the clients while managing their expectations
  • Clearly articulate business requirements and lead the account strategy both to clients and to the agency team
  • Work with account strategy to identify target ROI for client accounts, and work with the internal team to make sure that we are achieving that ROI
  • Understand and proactively recommend the latest technology and/or marketing trends (e.g. digital marketing)
  • Understand business objectives and creatively translate those into online/offline activities
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and prioritize and oversee multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines
  • A business trip may be required


  • Minimum 3+ years experience in marketing, public relations, advertising, required
  • Strong business sense - ability to talk ROI, conversions, marketing messaging, etc
  • Ability to translate those technologies to business opportunities for client
  • Innate ability to build rapport with existing and potential clients
  • Technically proficient – able to understand, propose, and talk intelligently about both development and marketing initiatives
  • Project management, Digital/traditional media planning, Web Development, e-Commerce, Online Marketing, and/or Experiential marketing experience a big plus
  • Must be bilingual in Japanese
  • Knowledge of third party tracking and serving technology a plus (i.e. Doubleclick)
  • Someone who loves working with clients, is extroverted, and wants to stick around in the position for a while
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing and oral communications
  • Demonstrated ability to write business plans and proposals
  • Demonstrated ability to work in team environment, building consensus and commitment to strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue by expanding associations with existing clients (e.g. proposing new initiatives)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
