Our client, a well-established QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) company is recruiting for a Marketing Assistant/ Administrator to join the team and assist with marketing and design for our restaurants and Frozen Pizza brand.

Job Purpose:
We are looking for an individual who is capable of helping with strong administration and an interest in customer service and sales and a passion for branding and marketing.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Assist with customer service including responding to customers’ special requests, complaints and loyalty programs
  • Assist with social media community management, engagement, comments and complaints
  • Assist with content for bi-monthly internal newsletters with insights from our Area Managers, Store Managers and Management team
  • Assist with implementing CSI initiatives for charity and school events/functions
  • Assist with website updates, blogs and content
  • Assist with day-to-day operations and availability of 3rd party platforms such as Uber Eats, MrD and Bolt
  • Assist with our Frozen Pizza business as a sales/brand representative including administrative duties such as retail store visits, reporting and assistance at store activations and in-store promotions
  • After hours assistance for stores with order queries will be required from time to time
  • Assist with restaurant store visits and detailed store reports
  • Assist with internal communication to co-ordinate promotions, pricing adjustments and other operational aspects
  • Support the Marketing Manager in all aspects of administration & planning not necessarily limited to the above
  • Assisting with general administration duties unrelated to marketing if required
Qualification and Attributes required:
  • Marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification (advantageous but not necessary)
  • Good understanding of design, advertising, sales and marketing
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Presentable and professional
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Organised, multitasking and adherence to deadlines
  • Customer focused with attention to detail
  • Flexible demeanour and a go-getter
Salary: Market related - Dependent on candidate experience

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5pm,

Location: Morningside, Johannesburg
