This Role Will Be Responsible For:

  • Actively seeking and acquiring new clients while managing an existing book of business.
  • Educating producers on various marketing tools, including futures, options, and cash contracts.
  • Helping farmers assess price risks and develop customized marketing plans tailored to their operations.
  • Executing marketing plans on behalf of clients with precision and discipline.
  • Providing consistent market-related updates and guidance to clients.
  • Serving as a trusted partner to farmers, ensuring their financial and operational success.

Expectations Will Include:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with producers through proactive outreach.
  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of commodity markets and risk management strategies.
  • Effectively communicating complex market trends in a way that benefits farmers’ decision-making.
  • Continuously developing sales skills and industry knowledge through company-provided training.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales performance goals in a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Ensuring high ethical standards and integrity in all client interactions.

A Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following:

  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience within a team-based structure (Associate-level roles exempt from this requirement).
  • Strong Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently while staying driven and proactive.
  • Licensing: Ability to obtain a Series 3 License for commodity brokers within 6 months of hire.
  • Preferred: Agriculture industry experience with knowledge of commodity markets, cash markets, and risk management tools.

Compensation: Base salary + commission
