What You'll Do
- Partner with the Safety Manager to direct safety meetings and ensures ongoing safety training for all shop employees
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to link operational (KPIs) and provide recommendations to improve financial and operational efficiency
- Additionally, perform performance evaluations, create individual development plans and assign tasks to the most appropriate team members.
- Leads personnel in a professional manner
- Daily communication with Shift Leads and Production Operators/ Material Handlers to identify opportunities, issues, and concerns
- Demonstrate leadership by driving initiatives, influencing outcomes, and fostering accountability
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, employee productivity, uptime improvements, and lead time reductions
- Maintain and turn in all daily and monthly reports required by management
What You'll Need
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Experience with industrial electrical repairs including troubleshooting and repair of A/C - D/C drives and motors, PLC's and 480 Volt 3 phase electrical
- SAP experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Salesforce a plus
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have an ability to multitask, meet deadlines and handle stress in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Safety Mindset
- 3–5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in a production, manufacturing, or rebar related environment (large facility experience preferred)
