Manufacturing Process Engineer
Job Description
Our client, located in Salisbury, NC , has an opening for a Manufacturing Process Engineer with Plastics Molding Experience.
- Work closely with Technical, Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Purchasing team to resolve issues, lead process safety and implement improvements.
- Support safe and consistent manufacturing processes
- Responsible for Facility Process continuous improvement.
- Development of processes for proto-types and production.
- Establish training programs and monitor their effectiveness.
- Manage installation of new production equipment.
- Set-up process for prototypes and production parts.
- Work with Manufacturing to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Assist Quality Department in setting Quality standards and work instructions.
- Oversee Operations Process training programs, quality, production & maintenance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experienced in developing clear and detailed work instructions.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying areas of improvement and managing the associated change process.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks as needed to meet objectives.
- Minimum experience required: 3-5 years Plastic Molding Experience; Industrial maintenance.
- Bachelors Degree or Associates (Technical) Degree with related experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF16949 and ISO 14001
- Demonstrated experience in identifying areas of improvement and managing the associated change process.
