An international automotive supplier is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Plant Financial Controller to lead financial operations at their Chattanooga, TN facility. This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing all financial aspects of the plant’s operations, aiming to optimize profitability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in manufacturing accounting, budget management, and strategic financial planning, ideally with knowledge of automotive manufacturing dynamics and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

Salary: DOE per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to track and optimize financial performance.
• Develop, implement, and oversee the annual budget, providing accurate financial forecasts and periodic updates to the plant management.
• Conduct detailed cost analyses on production costs, materials, labor, and overhead to identify cost-reduction opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels effectively, ensuring accuracy and optimal stock levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls to protect assets and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
• Ensure the plant adheres to local, state, and federal regulations concerning financial and tax reporting.
• Coordinate with internal and external audit teams to support comprehensive audits and compliance checks.
• Lead a team of financial professionals, overseeing all financial operations of the plant including payroll, accounts payable, and receivables.
• Partner closely with plant management to provide strategic financial insights that support decision-making processes.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in problem-solving.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing accounting and cost analysis.
• Deep knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

• Experience in the automotive industry or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English languages.
