The Manufacturing Operations Manager – CNC oversees day‑to‑day machining operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production across all CNC equipment. This role leads a team of machinists and programmers, drives throughput and process consistency, and partners closely with engineering, maintenance, and quality to meet customer and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop CNC machining teams, including scheduling, training, performance management, and daily workflow coordination.
• Optimize production processes by improving setup times, tooling strategies, machine utilization, and overall throughput.
• Ensure quality and compliance through adherence to machining standards, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with quality engineering on root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage production metrics including output, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, and on‑time delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across safety, cost, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience managing CNC machining operations from a large high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, machining parameters, and modern manufacturing methods.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop technical teams.
