Manufacturing Manager – Electronics Manufacturing
📍 Location: Ventura County (100% On-Site)
💵 Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000 annually
🛡️ US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency Required (ITAR Registered Facility)
Are you an experienced manufacturing leader ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, a fast-paced and innovative electronics manufacturer in Ventura County, is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead and optimize electronic product assembly, testing, and quality control operations. This is a critical on-site leadership role responsible for driving production excellence, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage production teams including engineers, operators, warehouse, purchasing, planning, and scheduling staff.

Oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure alignment with production schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Implement and enforce lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and reduce waste.

Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure a smooth transition from prototype to full-scale production.

Monitor KPIs such as yield, cycle time, and cost per unit to drive performance improvements.

Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with quality control to resolve defects.

Develop and implement best practices, procedures, and policies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Ensure compliance with ISO procedures, ESD protocols, and other relevant regulatory standards.

Mentor, train, and evaluate production team members to build high-performance teams.

Provide regular production reports and communicate operational updates to executive leadership.

Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
✅ Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 5 years in electronic manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.

Deep understanding of electronics assembly, testing, and related equipment.

Hands-on experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

Strong leadership, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.

Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing software (Microsoft Dynamics F&SCM a plus).
⭐ Preferred Experience:

High-volume electronics production environments.

Familiarity with automated assembly systems.

Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001 and IPC-610.
