Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Introducing new components and technologies into production in support of cost effective, high quality products;
- Working with internal and external contacts on matters concerning product definition, tooling, inspection, scheduling, and corrective actions;
- Creating and maintaining product definition, tooling, process certification, and shop order routings;
- Providing shop floor liaison for resolution of technical matters.
Position Requirements / Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology;
- 3 to 6 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment (for Intermediate role); OR
- 7 to 10 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment (for Senior role);
- Experience in sheet metal detail manufacturing, machining components, pneumatic and hydraulic hardware, heat treating and forming operations;
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
