Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred; an Associate’s degree with relevant experience will be considered.
- 3–10 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering, with a focus on process optimization.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing.
- Proven experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs), process routings, and time studies to establish production standards.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems for planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance programs and procedures.
- Knowledge of product sampling, final inspection processes, and the use of calibration tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of process specifications for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with design and production goals.
- Design and deploy manufacturing workflows, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Lead initiatives to establish safety protocols, ergonomic layouts, tooling solutions, fixtures, and prototype development.
- Manage and coordinate teams supporting manufacturing operations, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Support the establishment of product testing protocols and quality assurance frameworks to meet industry standards.
- Collaborate on procurement strategies for raw materials and components, ensuring supply chain reliability.
- Generate regular performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to track process efficiency and project milestones.
- Provide technical leadership for major projects as directed by senior leadership, ensuring timely and effective execution.
