Manufacturing Engineer

A fantastic, full-time opening has become available for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a modern and highly successful precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies. This is a terrific, permanent position offering a generous salary, paid overtime, flexible work environment, and opportunity to advance. This is a first shift position with working hours from 7am to 3:30pm. The company is located not far from the city of Indianapolis, nicknamed the “crossroads of America.”

Responsibilities

• Develops fixture and design concepts
• Process development and programming of CNC machines
• Orders and sets up tooling
• Sees process through APQR and PPAP process
• Troubleshoot as needed

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 5+ years in a Manufacturing Engineering position
• Experience leading mid-large size projects
• Must have previous experience with 3 axis vertical and horizontal CNC machines
• Experience with Cutting Tool design and Jig & Fixture Design
• Prior experience with MasterCAM a must
• Knowledge of 3D CAD software preferred
• Open minded to new technologies and ideas
