Our client, a growing manufacturer in the Columbia, SC area, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer.

We are seeking someone with Complex Machining, CNC, Tool Maker experience. I.E. Someone that can take a blueprint of a part and be able to know what it would take to machine the part through our production areas…

Experience Required:

This is a hands on role. Significant experience with chip cutting, fixture design, and machining ferrous / non ferrous metals is required

• Ability to quote mechanical drawings for cost, tooling, fixtures and timing
• Create process drawing from mechanical drawings to release manufacturing
• Experience machining ferrous alloys and aluminum
• Tooling usage, types and applications
• Strong GD&T skills
• CAD/CAM software experience
• Trouble shoot shop floor machining issues
• Ability to write and monitor PPAP requirements
• BSME Preferred
