Manufacturing Engineer
Join our client’s dynamic manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and leadership to support the manufacturing of products, focusing on the development, measurement, and maintenance of product and process procedures. You will play a key role in ensuring that processes are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Control Plans, and other documentation in line with TS16949 compliance.
- Lead the development of new product manufacturing, equipment specifications, processes, and hardware requirements.
- Conduct cost justifications and analysis for new product introductions.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure the successful launch of new products.
- Provide technical leadership for assigned product lines and act as a subject matter expert.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive quality and process improvements.
- Implement process enhancements to reduce scrap and waste.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager.

Qualifications:
Required:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
- Familiarity with ISO or QS quality systems.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Manufacturing engineering experience in an automotive setting.
- Root cause analysis/problem-solving training (Shainin, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies)..
