Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within industrial or materials processing sectors.
- Proven expertise in project management, industrial engineering methodologies, and the application of manufacturing best practices.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Exceptional communication skills to engage with internal teams, external vendors, and clients on technical matters.
- Strong analytical and mechanical aptitude, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or materials processing, with a track record of improving operational metrics such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance tools, safety regulations, and lean principles, including Value Stream Mapping, Line Balancing, and Kaizen.
- Preferred: Training or certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies.
- Preferred: Experience with ERP/MRP systems and materials flow management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency, utilizing structured problem-solving techniques such as root cause analysis, lean methodologies, and process mapping.
- Provide strategic leadership by fostering a culture of collaboration, challenging existing workflows, and inspiring teams to achieve operational goals through transparent and proactive engagement.
- Evaluate process capabilities and control limits to ensure consistent quality standards and to guide the integration of new projects into production.
- Identify and document opportunities for process enhancements to minimize cycle times, reduce waste, and improve resource utilization.
- Develop business cases and financial analyses to justify investments in capital equipment and process improvements.
- Conduct time studies, workflow analyses, and other measurement activities to optimize production methods and resource allocation.
- Utilize simulation tools to model process improvements and provide actionable recommendations to enhance manufacturing operations.
- Serve as a technical mentor, delivering training and support to team members to ensure compliance with specifications, cost efficiency, and safety standards.
- Achieve performance targets in safety, quality, cost, productivity, and on-time delivery for assigned process areas.
- Create, update, and maintain process documentation, including routings, work instructions, and technical drawings, to meet quality and customer requirements cost-effectively.
- Support multiple facilities and shifts to ensure consistent project execution and production continuity.

Compensation: $105 – 115K Base Salary
Benefits: 15% ESOP, and Target bonus (typically 10%) based on a 5 year rolling salary history.
