Assist Manufacturing Engineering, Project Managers and/or Program Managers as assigned in the following areas:
Manufacturing planning and shop liaison functions: Duties may include: Reading and interpreting customer blueprints and specifications. Formulating manufacturing planning paperwork and rework plans. Assisting manufacturing personnel with resolutions of technical problems in areas such as tooling and/or manufacturing processes. Development and implementation process documentation in Manufacturing Technical Directive documentation.
Continuous Improvement functions: Duties may include: Supporting effort in a cross functional team. Defining and documentation of current process. Identifying potential areas of improvement. Developing and documenting plan to achieve improvement.
Business Development functions: Duties may include: Investigate and document appropriate process for reviewed business. Create and define baseline effort for cost analysis. Identify, evaluate and define process and equipment needed for effort.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: Currently enrolled in an engineering graduate or undergraduate degree program with a Junior or higher status. Has previous knowledge of CAD.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
