We are seeking a diligent and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our established company based in Whippany, New Jersey. Salary: Starting at $65,000 to $90,000 per year, plus potential for an additional $10,000 to $15,000 annually through overtime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems and related electronic drives.
- Implement and maintain PLCs, HMIs, Motor Drives, and Variable Frequency Drives.
- Conduct hands-on panel wiring and assembly according to schematics.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic components and systems to the component level.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Maintain documentation and reports for systems and modifications undertaken.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and fluent in English.
- Residency within commuting distance of Whippany, NJ area (local to NJ/NYC).
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, and other control system technologies.
- Capability to read and interpret technical schematics and documents.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electronics to the component level is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Advanced understanding of variable frequency drives and control system programming.
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
