  • Develop and maintain applications and systems for CNC automation, manufacturing efficiency, and web-based reporting tools
  • Develop and maintain Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) standard of measurement and reporting system
  • Drive daily corrective action and continuous improvement efforts to sustain the elimination of equipment and systems DOWNTIME
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve digital manufacturing systems
  • Support the integration of new technology including automation and robotics into fabrication, production assembly, and materials processes
  • Develop and maintain Oracle Database queries and procedures for manufacturing automation.
  • Prepare work instructions, procedures, JSAs, capability charts and supporting documents as needed to support the execution of automation and manufacturing systems
  • Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity
  • Interface with Production Engineers to ensure design for automation, machine capabilities, and material specifications are understood and best practices are achieved
  • Research, justify and implement equipment and/or tooling projects ranging from $10k to $1M
  • Lead improvement of steel utilization, and produce a documented reduction in scrap
  • Troubleshoot and improve daily CNC programming issues or limitations to optimize system usage
