We are looking for a Manufacturing Controller to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and present the annual plant manufacturing budget for direct labor, material yields, operating outputs, and departmental overhead spending, including the development of product cost standards
• Lead month-end and quarterly financial forecast processes for the manufacturing operation
• Provide Manufacturing and Plant leadership with financial reporting and analysis to support plant operations and financial objectives.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of efficiency and customer service while maintaining appropriate internal controls and compliance with GAAP
• Identify, lead and implement process improvements in both the Financial and Accounting parts of our business with the appropriate involvement of plant, interplant, and central accounting partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• At least 6 years of accounting or finance experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility
• Prior manufacturing plant experience and or cost accounting highly desired
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and link to business implications
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
