CBIZ Talent & Compensation Solutions is assisting our growing client in their search for a Manufacturing Accounting Manager role in Streetsboro, OH

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the accounting department and ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely
• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Manage the month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Manage and mentor accounting staff
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met
• Assist with audits and tax filings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
