The Opportunity:
We are seeking an accomplished Managing Director to lead all day-to-day operations across two dealership locations. This executive-level role is responsible for driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with deep marine industry knowledge, a proven track record of multi-location dealership management, and strong financial and vendor relationship expertise.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for sales, service, and administrative operations across two dealership locations
- Ensure operational excellence through efficient processes, adherence to policies, and a culture of accountability
- Oversee the effective utilization of Lightspeed DMS for all dealership functions
- Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control
- Oversee credit lines, floorplan financing, and cash flow to maintain strong financial health
- Drive sales performance by ensuring exceptional customer service and dealership presentation
- Partner with Sales and Service Managers to establish and achieve department goals
- Monitor service operations for efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Serve as primary liaison with manufacturers and vendors, negotiating terms, programs, and inventory support
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to staff across all departments
- Foster a positive, professional, and performance-driven workplace culture
- Collaborate with HR on recruiting, training, performance management, and employee relations
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of executive leadership experience in the marine dealership industry
- Proven success managing multi-location operations with annual revenues of $20M+
- Strong financial acumen, including floorplan financing, credit lines, and cash flow management
- Expertise in Lightspeed DMS (or equivalent systems)
- Exceptional skills in vendor/manufacturer relations and contract negotiations
