Our client, a Ghanaian owned telecom services provider that specializes in providing cutting-edge solutions is looking for a Managing Director who will provide overall strategic, operational, and financial leadership. The ideal candidate will drive business growth, streamline operations, and ensure operational efficiency while delivering measurable value to shareholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Business Development

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the business beyond its current scale.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities, markets, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead contract negotiations and major client engagements.
  • Position the company for long-term sustainability and profitability.

Operational Efficiency & Execution

  • Streamline operations to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost control.
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of projects.
  • Continuously improve operational systems and workflows.

Financial Management

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Ensure strong cash flow management and cost discipline.
  • Deliver agreed financial performance targets.
  • Support capital raising and investor engagement where required.

People Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing management and operations team.
  • Set clear performance targets and enforce accountability.
  • Promote a culture of efficiency, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Develop leadership capacity and succession plans.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and contractual obligations.
  • Implement risk management and internal control systems.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to the Board.
  • Uphold strong corporate governance standards.

  • Revenue growth and profitability improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years senior management experience, preferably in telecoms or infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in scaling businesses and driving operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership, financial management, and execution skills.
